Patricia Ann “Peach” Tolson

Peach Tolson was born to William Charles and Glenna Mae (Harris) Laird on February 3, 1951, at Shawnee, OK. She moved to Noble at a young age with her family and attended all (12) years at Noble Public Schools.

She was an avid basketball player for Noble High. She graduated from Noble with the Class of (1969). She married Dennis Tolson (the love of her life) on May 6, 1969, in Norman, Ok. They made their home in Noble.

They raised their (3) children, Doug, Stacie and Amie in Noble and as parents, they were a very big part of their children lives whether it pertained to academics, sports or 4-H, and FFA. They were Senior Class Parents for their children and she was an Honorary member of the Future Farmers of America Club. She coached the Optimist Girls basketball team from (1982-1985).

Peach and Dennis held membership at the Slaughterville Baptist Church. She was a member of the Adult 3 Sunday School Class. She volunteered in the kitchen at church and helped provide meals for different occasions. She kept the pantry stocked. Peach’s philosophy in life consisted of (3) things: Family always came first, always watch how you spend your pennies and have a good time.

She was preceded in death by her Parents. Those who survive her include Husband Dennis of the home, Son Doug Tolson and wife Pepper of Alex, Ok., Stacie Tolson of Purcell and Amie Whitehead and husband Larry of Noble, (2) Brothers; Wm. (Bill) Laird Jr. of Asher, Ok., and Mike Laird of Norman, (3) Sisters; Linda Fleming of Norman, Shiela Unsell of Norman and Missy Noey of Seminole, (3) Grandchildren; Paige Vernon and husband Dakota of Alex, Ok., Dustin Tolson of Alex, Ok. and Timothy Whitehead of Noble.

SERVICE: 10:00am Saturday, May 5th
Emmanuel Baptist Church, Purcell, Ok.
VISITATION HOURS: 4:00pm-7:00pm Friday, May 4th
