JOHN “HAROLD” ROBINSON

Harold Robinson was born to John Alex and Velma (Lovingood) Robinson on November 23, 1924, at Sparks, OK. He attended school at Newcastle, OK. He enlisted in the U. S. Army on December 9, 1942. Harold was a member of the Black Cat 13th Division 501 82nd Airborne Paratroopers. He made (32) jumps. Upon his Honorable Discharge on November 26, 1945, he received the American Theater Ribbon and the Victory Medal World War II.

Harold was a painting contractor by trade until his retirement. He and Jody Boffing were United in Marriage on March 8, 1980, at Lindsey, OK. on horseback. Harold had a great passion for horses. He and Jody made their home southeast of Noble so they could enjoy riding and owning horses. When Harold couldn’t ride anymore he decided to start building horse-drawn buggies. He perfected the design and began selling them. He just enjoyed the buggy ride.

Harold was preceded in death by his Parents, (1) Son Gale Robinson, (5) Brothers; Ralph, James, Bill, Haskell, and Troy, (1) Sister Betty Ruth Robinson and a Granddaughter Jessica. Those who survive him include his Wife Jody of the home, (3) Sons; Charles, John and Larry Robinson, Sister Irma Goad, (11) Grandchildren, numerous Great Grandchildren and many friends that will miss him dearly.
