EVERETT FLOYD DESHAZO OBITUARY

Everett Floyd DeShazo was the first child born to George Edmond and Dovie May (Crownover) DeShazo on October 31, 1929, at Gracemont, OK. He departed this life on January 7, 2018, at the Oak Hill Care Center in Jones, OK. where he was receiving special care during his illness.

Everett attended school at Mill Creek, OK. He entered the U.S. Navy in (1948) and received an Honorable Discharge in (1952). After his discharge he made his home in San Diego, Ca. and was employed with the San Diego Transit System as a Bus Driver for (44) years and (7) months. He always said he wished he had stayed for (48) years.

In May of (1997), Everett moved to Tecumseh, Oklahoma and married Imojean Welch at the Twelve Corners Baptist Church. Everett was a gun collector, he enjoyed fishing, camping, watching westerns on the television, spending time with his family and attending his Church.

Everett was preceded in death by his Parents, (2) Brothers; Allard Earl and Arthur DeShazo, (2) Sisters; Shirley Ann Flood and Betty Jo Hobbs. Those who survive him include his Wife Imojean of the home, Sons; Lynn Airington and Floyd Everett DeShazo, Daughters; Vera DeShazo and Glenda Cooper, Brother Leonard DeShazo, Sister Mary Frances Farris, numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
