Everett Lawson Mallory

Everett Lawson Mallory was born to Harve and Cora (Wiseman) Mallory on September 25, 1925, at Blanchard, Ok. He departed this life on May 31, 2018, at the Norman Veterans Center at the age of 92 years.
 
After Mr. Mallory completed his education he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He received an Honorable Discharge in October 1945. He was a rancher /farmer his entire life. He and Ruby Gwin married on April 17, 1965. They made their home in Lexington, Ok. for 50 years. Everett spent his entire life outdoors and loved every minute of it. He always planted a big vegetable garden and his yard was immaculate. He even enjoyed fishing every now and then.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruby, 4 brothers and 2 sisters, 1 son Roger Mallory, 1 step-son Terry McCalip, 1 step-daughter Barbara Westberry. Those who survive him include 4 daughters; Rhonda Rodriquez (Jose) of Purcell, Donna LeBlanc (Jeff) of Norman, Lawanna Berry (Jerry) of Noble and Sharon Couch, 4 sons; Everett Ray Mallory (Nancy) of Noble, Jimmy Mallory (Connie) of Noble, Harvey Mallory of Noble and Danny Mallory of Ok. City, 22 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, a host of great-great-grandchildren, best friends George and Lois Conklin, Gary Sweetman and many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Carla Welch and Morgan Resendiz, the staff of Sunset Estates, the staff of Norman Veterans Center, Frontier Hospice and a very special thank you and gratitude to Everett’s daughter Rhonda who put her life and family on hold to take care of their Dad.
